Feb. 7--SCHENECTADY -- The chairman of the Metroplex Development Authority told members of the Schenectady County Legislature that 2006 was a good year for economic development and the outlook for this year is just as good. Ray Gillen, in his state of Metroplex address Monday night, said he was optimistic about the year ahead, noting that the county has just completed another year of promising growth.
